Our chairman Dr Saravanan after having qualified as Paediatrician in India went to England and spent over 15 years and gained wealth of knowledge and skills to provide advanced care for the sickest of the children. He has worked in the world renowned Hospitals such as Guys Hospital London and Oxford Radcliff Hospital. He returned back from the United kingdom and successfully formed a team of highly specialized and skilled Paediatric doctors from England and India and within a short time of 5 years, he has created a world class Children’s Hospital, right here in Madurai.
Dr M Saravanan is the General Secretary of Madurai Neonatology Association, under the umbrella organisation “National Neonatal Forum”. He is responsible for promoting the quality of newborn care in the Madurai district and also the surrounding districts such as Dindigul, Ramanathapuram, Theni, Sivagangai and Virudhunagar, through teaching and training of doctors, nurses and paramedic staffs.

He served his role in medical education and training with his position as the Vice President of Indian Academy of Paediatrics, Madurai branch. He played his part in organising state level Paediatric conference in 2017 and also through conducting regular Teaching and Training sessions for Paediatricians, Obstetricians, Gynaecologists and General Practitioners in the Madurai district and the 8 districts surrounding Madurai.
